STILL THE TEAM TO BEAT

The Patriots may not have the sexist looking roster in terms of name power or recognition but in terms of stability, consistency, experience and a winning pedigree, New England is still the superior and proven team. As for the Jets and Bills, the future looks bright but is this the year, the light finally begins to shine through? Meanwhile in Miami, is a new Head Coach and Quarterback enough to get the Dolphins going back in the right direction?

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

With Future Hall of Fame Head Coach Bill Belicheck and future Hall of Fame Quarterback Tom Brady back for another season, the Patriots are once again setup for success. And despite conquering every hurdle and proving all doubters wrong up to this point, the quest for an NFL record 7th Super Bowl will be their greatest test and challenge.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

In South Florida, fans are looking for the sun to shine a little brighter on their beloved franchise after some disappointing years. Enter new Head Coach Brian Gonzalez and a set of new Quarterbacks on opposite ends of the spectrum. With those things in mind, finishing at or above .500 would be considered a success this season.

BUFFALO BILLS

Buffalo is an intriguing team this season as it returns one of the AFC top defenses but also returns an offense that has some serious questions. While first Round Draft pick Ed Oliver appears to be a perfect fit on the Bills defense, the Bills offense doesn't look overly impressive with aging Running Backs and unproven Wide Receivers. The pressure will be on second year Quarterback Josh Allen to show and prove.

NEW YORK JETS

The Jets appear to be a team heading in the right direction. Rookie Quennin Williams was regarded by many as the best defensive player in this years draft and 2nd year starter Sam Darnoldson appears to be the long term answer at Quarterback. 3rd year player Jamal Adams has a short but impressive resume that has him pegged as one of the leagues top safetys for many years to come. New York also acquired Running Back LeVeon Bell who is already a proven commodity as one the leagues premier players at his position and Linebacker C.J. Mosley, who is a Pro Bowl caliber player as well. Now let's see if new Head Coach Adam Gase has what it takes to put New York back on the map.
