2019 AFC NORTH PRESEASON VIEW
BALTIMORE RAVENS
2019 marks the official start of a new beginning in Baltimore, with veterans Joe Flacco and Terrell Suggs now gone. Those two players were the last ones left from the Ravens Super Bowl victory back in 2013. Second year Quarterback Lamar Jackson is now the face of the franchise and is looking to lead a new look Ravens offense, while the defense has it's work cut out, looking to establish a new identity as well.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
It had been the same ole dance and song in Pittsburgh over the last five years with the Steelers in position to make the Super Bowl but at one point or another, an injury, off the field issue, or their yearly soap opera would take superceed that goal. Former Pittsburgh stars LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown had alot to do with those issues but now both are gone, leaving the other responsible party in Ben Roethlisberger behind. After coming up short last season, let's see if Big Ben is ready to lead a very good team back into the Postseason.
CLEVELAND BROWNS
It wasn't too long ago that the Browns were the laughing stock of the league after going 0-16 in 2016 and only winning one game in 2017 but after cashing in on some impressive draft picks and free agents to go along with a blockbuster trade, Cleveland seems like a team ready to become a contender. However what things look like on paper and how things play out on the football field are two different things and learning how to win consistently is a process.

CINCINNATI BENGALS
For the Bengals, the beginning of a new season usually brings some excitement but after losing their top draft pick, Tackle Jonas Williams for the season and losing Wide Receiver A.J. Green for 6-8 weeks due to an ankle injury, the odds seemed stacked against Cincinnati again. There are still some good players on the team but with the exception of a few, they all seemed to have reach their ceiling, which doesn't well for a team that hasn't been able to secure a Playoff win in more than a decade.
