COMING UP SHORT AGAIN

The Ravens had the best record in the NFL at 14-2 and had the league MVP in Quarterback Lamar Jackson but it wasn't enough, as the Ravens were one and done in the Playoffs. The rest of the division missed the post season with the Steelers marred by injuries, while the Browns missed the mark and the Bengals were flat out bad.

2019 AFC NORTH SEASON RECAP
BALTIMORE RAVENS 9/2019

To be completely honest, nobody really knows what results to expect from the Ravens this year. Second year Quarterback Lamar Jackson has to prove he can consistently throw the football or lead a running game that defenses will sell out to stop. The Ravens defense also has a new look and must prove themselves as well.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS 9/2019

If the Steelers offensive line can handle business, they still have a good enough offense to generate points and a front seven that still can get after it on defense, leaving the secondary as the primary concern. Since Pittsburgh is pretty much the same team it has been, let's see how they fare minus the off-season drama and off the field issues.

CLEVELAND BROWNS 9/2019

The Browns are another team that has effectively used high end draft picks, free agency and trades to drastically improve their roster and it showed last season as the Browns barely missed the Playoffs. With all the pieces in place, Cleveland is confident about making the Playoffs but pressure comes along with expectation.

2019 RECORDS

Baltimore 14-2

Pittsburgh 8-8

Cleveland 6-10

Cincinnati 2-14

CINCINNATI BENGALS 9/2019

The Bengals have pretty much been the same team for the last 8 years, which marks the rookie year for Quarterback Andy Dalton and Wide out A.J. Green. Mostly good, sometimes average but never good enough and this year things don't appear to be any different in Cincinnati.
