2ND HALF PREVIEW
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
The Chiefs offense has finally taken the chains off and opened things up, which has been fun to watch but their defense has now become a question mark. Kansas City has the inside track to winning the division but must handle business down the stretch.
OAKLAND RAIDERS
Oakland had a break through season in 2016, making the playoffs for the first time since 2007. Quarterback Derek Carr leads a potent offense but the defense still has question marks. Expectations will be high, let's see if the Raiders are ready to establish themselves as a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
DENVER BRONCOS
The Broncos still have a strong roster led by one the leagues best defensive units but the Quarterback position has to be addressed in order for this team to compete for another Super Bowl. Denver took home the Lombardi Trophy in 2015 despite shaky Quarterback play but hasn't been able to duplicate the same success since.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
The Chargers are a team in transition. Longtime Quarterback Philip Rivers is nearing the end of his career and the Chargers are in the process of making Los Angeles their new home. The team remains competitive but some crucial losses early on may be too difficult to overcome.
