THIS SHOULD BE GOOD

After a surprising 2017 season and some big time free agent moves, Los Angeles is now the envy of the division. The once mighty Seahawk regime has officially crumbled but Russell Wilson & Co. are still a threat. Out in the desert, Arizona can make a Playoff push with some consistent Quarterback play, while out in the Bay, Quarterback Jimmy Garapollo is expected to lead San Francisco back to it's Glory days.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

The Rams begin the 2018 season with a team that is stock piled with talent. When you evaluate their roster, they're one of the few teams in the NFL that really don't have a glaring weakness. So the biggest challenges for the Rams are a direct result of what comes along with winning, especially in a major market like Los Angeles. Meaning their season will be considered a failure, if they don't advance further than they did last year.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Seattle rose to NFC West supremacy by putting together an impressive run from 2012-2016, in which they made the postseason for 5 consecutive years, highlighted by a 2013 Super Bowl win. But it was their 2014 Super Bowl loss that haunted them and eventually caused their empire to crumble. In the aftermath, Seattle still has a solid team that is competitive but have some major areas they need to address if they want to be considered as a serious Playoff contender.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

The Cardinals are a perfect example of how nothing is guaranteed in the NFL. 10 wins weren't enough to make the Playoffs in 2013. They finished with an 11-5 record back in 2014 but loss their starting Quarterback for the Playoffs, which led to a quick exit. Then in 2015, they loss in the NFC Championship game and haven't been back to the Playoffs since. The Cards still have a solid roster in tact but will need leadership from a new coaching staff and consistency from a new starting Quarterback, to make major noise in a stacked NFC.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Windows open and close quickly in the NFL. Just ask the San Francisco 49ers, who made 3 straight NFC Championship games and 1 Super Bowl appearance from 2011-2013, before falling apart prior to the 2014 season, in which they were respectable at 8-8. But it's been all down hill since that time, in which the 49ers have compiled a discouraging 13-35 record over the last 3 seasons. However a mid season trade last year brought new hope in the form of Quarterback Jimmy Garapollo, who reminded the 49ers of what winning felt like again.
