CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR

The Packers and Vikings were able to win and advance in the Playoffs before falling victim to the 49ers in disappointing fashion. As for the Bears, a lack luster offense couldn't keep pace with the NFC power houses and the Lions season completely crumbled after losing Quarterback Matt Stafford for the season.

2019 NFC NORTH SEASON RECAP
MINNESOTA VIKINGS 9/2019

The Vikings took a major step backwards last year by missing the Playoffs, after making the NFC Championship the year before. They return this season with that same talented roster in tact, including $90 Million dollar Quarterback Kirk Cousins who must produce or it could be trouble.

GREEN BAY PACKERS 9/2019

Green Bay has always placed it's Championship hopes on the arm of All Pro Quarterback Aaron Rodgers but last season they found out that wasn't enough. So in the off-season they made strides to put a better team around him and new Head Coach with him to help the Packers get back on top.

DETROIT LIONS 9/2019

Detroit is another team that seems stuck in mediocrity and can't get over the hump of being barely good at best. There are a number of reasons that play into why the Lions seasons seem to end the same exact way and second year Head Coach Matt Patricia needs to figure it and fix it before his seat becomes scorching hot.

2019 OFF SEASON GRADES
CHICAGO BEARS 9/2019

The Bears boast and return the top defense in the NFL and that alone gives them a chance in every game. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the offense, which played well in spurts last season but still needs to be more consistent if Chicago wants to go all the way.
