RUNNING BACK RANKINGS

NFL Fantasy Football Expert Analyst Lance Goodman takes an in depth look at the Fantasy Football landscape for the Running Back position.

PLAYOFF EDITION

1. LeVeon Bell, PIT

Dynamic play maker and nifty runner whose stop-slow mo & go style make it difficult for defenders to slow down this top tier talent who is also effective catching out of the backfield.

2. Alvin Kamara, NO

This kid is flat out nasty! With a unique combination of speed, power, elusiveness and agility, Kamara wreaks havoc on opposing defenses rushing and catching passes out of the backfield.

3. Todd Gurley, LAR

After a sophomore slump, Gurley put the work in over the summer and with a new offensive coordinator utilizing his full skill set, he's back performing at an elite level.

4. Mark Ingram, NO

With Ingram back in the feature role, he has flourished as a bruising runner on the ground and provides some extra value being able to catch out of the backfield, while also dominating the goal line carries.

5. Melvin Gordon, LAC

Big time play maker who can hurt defenses on the ground or catching out of the backfield. As the center piece on a good offense, he's usually setup for weekly success.

6. Leonard Fournette, JAC

Another gifted freshman runner who is the main focus of an other wise lackluster offense. His mix of speed, agility and power allow him to impose his will on opposing defenses.

7. LeSean McCoy, BUF

After facing some stout defenses to begin the season, McCoy has been excellent dominating favorable match ups in Weeks 7,8 & 11 and should continue to stack strong numbers moving forward.

8. Kareem Hunt, KC

Talented rookie who is an all purpose performer and thrives in Kansas City explosive offense. Has really impressed with his tough running style that allows for extra yards after contact.

9. Jordan Howard, CHI

Despite any real threat in the passing game and the fact that Howard is the main focus for opposing defenses, Howard continues to churn out yardage and stack numbers to justify his place as a First Round draft pick.

10. Alex Collins, BAL

The numbers don't lie and when you look at his production over the last 6 games combined with a favorable schedule in the championship rounds, Collins is the real deal.
