Fantasy Wide Receiver News updated 8/27/2018

Concerning my Preseason Wide Receiver Rankings, there really hasn't been much to talk about with most Receivers hardly seeing any meaningful reps. In the Top 10, everyone is pretty much a lock with #9 ranked DaVanta Adams being the wild card. He steps in this season as the Packers top Wide Receiver, after the loss of Jordy Nelson, who stacked big numbers when he was the top target for Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Their are also mild questions being raised about #10 ranked Adam Theilen and his ability to repeat last years success.

At #13, Tyreek Hill continues to impress with his big play ability and could very easily move up a few spots in my rankings. At #20, Devin Funchess is another guy who seems to be in line for a strong year.

Stefon Diggs and Juju Smith-Schuster are "must have" Receivers on your fantasy teams. Both are candidates for 80+ catches and 1,000+ yards, which is excellent value for their current ADP. Sterling Shepard and Jarvis Landry are also generating buzz. Both have looked motivated and sharp during the Preseason. Veteran Emmanuel Sanders looks is seeing his draft stock improve, while 2nd year player Corey Davis has all but solidified his spot as the Titans top Wide Receiver, with fellow Wide Out Rishard Matthews nursing an injury during Training Camp.

On the flip side, injuries to Alshon Jeffery and Rishard Matthews have them both on the PUP list, which is causing their draft stock to fall. As for Josh Gordon, missing an entire Preseason certainly didn't help, especially since the Browns have new Quaterbacks that he needs to build chemistry with. Down in Miami, DaVonte Parker is really a big question mark. He's still struggling with consistency and doesn't seem ready to completely take over as the teams unquestioned top Receiver. Rounding out the group is Tampa Wide Receiver DeSean Jackson. As it stands, he is in serious jeopardy of losing his starting job Chris Godwin, who is making serious noise this Preseason.
