NEW LOOK NFC EAST
The NFC East has undergone a major face lift over the last few years with draft picks and free agent signings completely reshaping how the division looks. 2nd year phenoms Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have beome the new wave in Dallas. Carson Wentz has more stability around him with the addition of LeGarette Blount and Alshon Jeffery in Philadelphia. Josh Norman and Terelle Pryor Sr. are immediate impact players for Washington, while the Giants completely revamped it's defense a year ago, plus brought in Brandon Marshall this off season.
SEASON PREVIEW
DALLAS COWBOYS
Expectations for the Cowboys are sky high this year after winning the NFC East last season before losing a heart breaker to Green Bay in the Divisional Playoff Round. The offense is filled with star power including 2nd year studs Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Wide Receiver Dez Bryant can make plays all over the field and the Cowboys boast the best offensive line in the NFL. With such a potent offense, the Cowboys main focus remains on building a championship caliber defense that can help Dallas dominate on both sides of the ball.
NEW YORK GIANTS
The Giants have alot to look forward to coming into the 2017 season. They have an offense that was upgraded with the addition of veteran Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall to tandem up with Pro Bowler Odell Beckham Jr. Quarterback Eli Manning could be more consistent but overall he knows how to get the job done. On defense, New York made a huge splash in the free agent market last off season and those players paid huge dividends, helping the Giants defense go from being much maligned to one of the better units in the league. For the most part, New York is bringing their entire team back and have a good chance at making the Playoffs. The Offensive Line and Linebacker position are where upgrades can be made.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
The Redskins are a team that has gotten better over the last few seasons but is still not a legitimate Super Bowl contender just yet. From a talent stand point, they have some strong pieces on offense led by Quarterback Kirk Cousins and Tight End Jordan Reed who are both Pro Bowl caliber players but the defense continues to be a liability giving up too many big plays. If Washington has plans on making the Playoffs, they will need to see vast improvements on that side of the ball.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Philadelphia is a team looking to ascend up the ladder in the division. When they look at the other teams ahead of them, they can feel good about themselves because they were able to compete with Dallas, Washington and the Giants last season. Philly was able to land their franchise Quarterback last year when they drafted Carson Wentz. His toughness and confidence immediately won over the coaching staff, team and fans. More importantly rookie Head Coach Doug Pederson was able to win over the trust of his team, which is so important when it comes to having respect in the locker room. With a solid draft and top of the line free agent pick ups, the Eagles improved their chances at making the Playoffs.
