TIGHT END RANKINGS

NFL Fantasy Football Expert Analyst Lance Goodman takes an in depth look at the Fantasy Football landscape for the Tight End position.

PLAYOFF EDITION

1. Zach Ertz, PHI

Ertz had been the biggest steal in live drafts and off the waiver wire leading the NFL in just about every Tight End category including TD receptions but an injury has had him go close to scoreless in the last 2 games.

2. Travis Kelce, KC

Flat out stud who gets the job done and has turned into a match up nightmare for defenses with the ability to strike from anywhere on the field.

3. Rob Gronkowski, NE

There's been a tad bit of inconsistency because of how much attention defenses give him especially in the red zone but he still stacks his numbers and has scored on more big plays this season.

4. Evan Engram, NYG

With the Giants top 2 Wide Receivers out for the year and Sterling Shepard returning from injury, Engram has become the most trusted target in the passing game for New York.

5. Jimmy Grahm, SEA

Consistency in the yardage department remains an issue for Graham but the fact that he's in a pass happy offense, which has led to 7 TD catches leave no room to complain.

6. Kyle Rudolph, MIN

Rudolph is not producing at the career high level he did last year, which was expected but he's still a favorite target for backup Quarterback Case Keenum especially in the red zone.

7. Delanie Walker, TEN

The Titans offense has been in search of an identity all year adjusting to new players and battling key injuries. Now that the season is in full swing, he's back in his usual role getting more quality targets.

8. Hunter Henry, LAC

The Chargers held Henry back to start the year so veteran Tight End Antonio Gates could break a record, which definitely hurt his numbers but he's assumed the full time starting job, which makes him a viable fantasy start weekly.

9. Jack Doyle, IND

Target monster who has become a heavily relied upon security blanket for 2nd year backup Quarterback Jacoby Brisett.

10. Charles Clay, BUF

The Bills haven't had any legitimate play makers in the passing game all year, which allowed for Clay to become a primary option for Quarterback Tyrod Taylor. He's missed time with an injury but should be productive again if his knee is no longer a set back.
