In his final tier of fantasy Quarterbacks, NFL Fantasy Football Expert Analyst Lance Goodman takes a look at what options will still be left in later rounds and evaluates if they are worth stashing on your bench for a final roster spot or high profile waiver wire options who owners should covet for specific match ups.

Pre Season Quarterback Rankings

Jay Cutler came out of retirement for a 1 year, 10 Million Dollar contract so I'm not sure how hard he's trying to play but he'll have some good games and some bad ones, making him an interesting waiver wire pick up and spot play to keep your eyes on because Jarvis Landry, DaVonte Parker and Julius Thomas have some talent.

Carson Wentz is a young player who I really like and is an obvious choice at the Quarterback position for owners in Keeper/Dynasty leagues. He's got a fairly young nucleus of skill position players around him with Wide Receivers Jordan Matthews and free agent pick up Alshon Jeffery. Philly also has a good Tight End in Zach Ertz. All parties involved including Wentz are still learning the intricacies of Head Coach Doug Perdersons offense, so it could take a little time for the passing game to fully gel, which makes it hard to project Wentz as a starter right now because there are better options available.

Jacksonville Quarterback Blake Bortles went from relatively unknown in his rookie season to a guy on everybody's radar by the end of his sophmore campaign. With two very young and talented Wide Receivers and a former Pro Bowl Tight End, Bortles was set to light the league on fire after 35 TD passes in 2015 but his 3rd season was a nightmare to forget. The Jags offense tanked and Bortles poor play was mainly responsible. Jacksonville still has some talent on offense but with only one year of fantasy success, there are a lot of questions to be answered coming into the 2017 season.

Baltimore Quarterback Joe Flacco is a seasoned veteran who usually finds his way to enough high scoring fantasy games to keep his name some what relevant. He's never been an every week starter and with a group of unproven Wide Receivers to work with, Flacco is almost assured another year of only being a match up based play. His 20 TD passes and 15 INTs in 2016 are definitely not winning fantasy football numbers.

Minnesota Quarterback Sam Bradford has his work cut out this year if he returns as the starter in Minnesota. Wide Receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen make a formidable tandem on the outside but with an offensive line that played poorly last year, it's hard to imagine Bradford amongst the top fantasy Quarterback options. His 20 TD passes and 5 INTs look good on paper but are not numbers that produce wins in fantasy football, as he ranked 24th for fantasy Quarterbacks last season.

It's hard to imagine things getting any worse for Los Angeles Rams second year QB Jared Goff. As a rookie things were pretty ugly. As the #1 overall draft pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, it was obvious to see that he wasn't quite ready for the big leagues and a bit over whelmed. And considering that Los Angeles doesn't have any legitimate weapons in the passing game, it's very unlikely that he'll be worth a roster spot to start the season.

The New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns all have uncertainty at the Quarterback position coming into this season. Open competition in training camp is the most likely scenario to determine who will be each respective teams opening day starter. Based on each teams skill position players and each Quarterbacks individual skill level, here's how I have each team ranked.
