NFL Fantasy Football Expert Analyst Lance Goodman takes an in depth look at the Fantasy Football landscape for the Wide Receiver position.
PLAYOFF EDITION
1. Antonio Brown, PIT
Still sitting atop the food chain at the Wide Receiver position as the most reliable and trusted option for fantasy on a weekly basis.
2. DeAndre Hopkins, HOU
Hopkins possess a rare and unique combination of athleticism, agility, speed, instincts, body control, strong hands and jumping ability that make him almost impossible to defend.
3. Adam Theilen, MIN
Whether it's been Sam Bradford or Case Keenum at Quarterback, Theilen has stacked excellent numbers especially when you consider his draft position. When fellow Wide Receiver Stefon Diggs missed a few games, Theilen became the unquestioned #1WR.
4. Keenan Allen, LAC
Allen has been one of the best fantasy Wide Receivers since his rookie season back in 2013. He's had a bad string of random injuries but when healthy he's a big time play maker.
5. Larry Fitzgerald, ARI
Fitz is hands down the top option for the Cardinals passing game and is having another strong year garnering a high volume of targets that lead to consistent production.
6. A.J. Green, CIN
Like many other fantasy STUD Wide Receivers this year, Green has had more Downs and disappointments than great games so far but is too talented to be held down for long as the go to guy in Cincy.
7. Michael Thomas, NO
He's only got 2 Touchdown catches on the year but he's had more than 8 targets in all but one game this year and has had more than 6.5 standard fantasy points in 8 out of 10 games.
8. Doug Baldwin, SEA
After a slow start, Baldwin is starting to heat up with TDs in 3 out of his last 4 games and appears to be on the same page with Quarterback Russell Wilson who is passing more than ever this season.
9. Tyreek Hill, KC
Dynamic play maker who is a threat to score from anywhere on the field utilizing his blinding speed which has him regarded as the fastest player in the NFL.
10. Marvin Jones, DET
Jones got off to a fast start last year in Detroit but slowly faded away. He vowed to be consistent all season long and has done exactly that becoming a huge play maker on a pass heavy offense.
